Fixed mooring, which is what we needed from the Oskarn Frame 118

The Oskarn Frame 118 is our third thalweg-moored gauging pontoon . Fixed mooring was the deciding choice, and the Oskarn Frame 118 is listed that way. Nothing else about the Oskarn Frame 118 stood out, which is what we wanted.

Commissioning the Oskarn Frame 118

Went through the whole thalweg-moored gauging pontoon catalogue twice before the Oskarn Frame 118.

51 people was the requirement

bought the Oskarn Frame 118 after a long comparison against the rest of this thalweg-moored gauging pontoon shortlist. The stated occupancy is 51 people, which is the figure we were checking. We never looked at the other axes once 51 people checked out.

Better than what we ran before the Oskarn Frame 118

Replaced a much older thalweg-moored gauging pontoon with the Oskarn Frame 118 at least.

How the Oskarn Frame 118 fits what we actually do

Second thalweg-moored gauging pontoon we have run; the Oskarn Frame 118. The Oskarn Frame 118 gets handled by people who are learning. That is the whole of it, on the Oskarn Frame 118 at least.

Specified for 369 centimetres

The Oskarn Frame 118 is not the cheapest thalweg-moored gauging pontoon we considered, and that was fine. What decided it was the freeboard at 369 centimetres. For a thalweg-moored gauging pontoon at 369 centimetres the Oskarn Frame 118 does what the listing says.

Worth knowing before you order the Oskarn Frame 118

We looked at most of the thalweg-moored gauging pontoon listings before settling on the Oskarn Frame 118.
