Sundrel Station 177 ControlSimp--Simplification

Two seasons with the Drovane Station 113

Have had the Drovane Station 113 in service long enough to say something useful about this solifluction-slope planter. We would buy it again. ...

Specified for 26.1 square metres

Shortlisted three solifluction-slope planter units, and the Drovane Station 113 was the one we kept. We needed a growing area around 26.1 square metres, and this one states exactly that. If your requirement is not growing area, we have no other reason to win.

Ours is not a heavy-duty use for the Drovane Station 113

Bought the Drovane Station 113 after a long comparison against the rest of this solifluction-slope planter shortlist. We run the station 113 on a single site rather than across a fleet, and it suits that. That is the whole of it, at least.

Where the Drovane Station 113 falls short

Second solifluction-slope planter we have run; the Drovane Station 113 replaced an older one. Nothing about the station 113 is quick to service; plan the access before you site it. Take it as context rather than a complaint about the site.

Root zone temperature 6 degrees Celsius, exactly as needed

Went through the whole solifluction-slope planter catalogue twice. The figure that mattered was the root zone temperature: 6 degrees Celsius. Would choose the Drovane Station 113 again on the same grounds.

3423.24 dollars is the right unit price for us

The Drovane Station 113 was not the cheapest planter we considered, and that was fine. Everything came down to unit price, and 3423.24 dollars is what we needed. The other Solifluction-slope planter listings are close to the Drovanes Station 113 on everything but unit price.

Getting the Drovane Station 113 running

The Drovane Station 113 is our third solifluction-slope planter, and the first one specified properly. Commissioning the station took an afternoon and no specialist help. The station 113 is still the right call for us.
