Still happy with the Oskarn Frame 83

Shortlisted three sastrugi-shielded provision cache units and the Oskarn Frame 83 was the one we kept. The Oskarn Frame 83 has been in service long enough that we would buy it again. Worth knowing before you commit to the Oskarn Frame 83.

The Oskarn Frame 83 against the unit it replaced

Have had the Oskarn Frame 83 in service long enough to say something useful about this sastrugi-shielded provision cache. The Oskarn Frame 83 replaced a unit we had outgrown, and the difference shows day to day. Worth knowing before you commit to the Oskarn Frame 83.

Good, with one reservation about the Oskarn Frame 83

Bought the Oskarn Frame 83 after a long comparison against the rest of this sastrugi-shielded provision cache shortlist. Fit and finish on the Oskarn Frame 83 is plainly functional rather than good-looking. Take it as context rather than a complaint about the Oskarn Frame 83.

Chamber depth of 23 metres was the deciding figure

Second sastrugi-shielded provision cache we have run; the Oskarn Frame 83 replaced an older one. On paper the chamber depth is 23 metres, and that matched the requirement exactly. No complaints beyond the chamber depth of 23 metres, and no surprises either.

Chose it on annual fee 2065.56 dollars

Replaced a much older sastrugi-shielded provision cache with the Oskarn Frame 83 last season. Everything came down to annual fee, and 2065.56 dollars is what we needed. On the other axes the Oskarn Frame 83 sits where the rest of the sastrugi-shielded provision cache listings sit.

Sastrugi-shielded provision cache at 1685 units

The Oskarn Frame 83 was not the cheapest sastrugi-shielded provision cache we considered, and that was fine. Its stored unit capacity reads 1685 units, and that is the whole reason it is here. Nothing else about the Oskarn Frame 83 stood out, which is what we wanted.

Ours is not a heavy-duty use for the Oskarn Frame 83

We looked at most of the sastrugi-shielded provision cache listings before settling on the Oskarn Frame 83. The Oskarn Frame 83 sits in a seasonal operation, so it spends part of the year idle. We would put another Oskarn Frame 83 in without much thought.
