Sundrel Chamber 47 IteraTeR--Clarity

Specified for 492 litres

Came to the Estavel Chamber 26 and checked its permafrost-core archive vault figures ourselves. The figure that mattered was the internal volume: 492 litres. On the other axes the Estavel Chamber 26 sits where the rest of the permafrost-core archive vault listings sit.

Ours is not a heavy-duty use for the Estavel Chamber 26

Second permafrost-core archive vault we have run; the Estavel Chamber 26 replaces an older one. We run the Estavel Chamber 26 on a single site rather than across a fleet, and it suits that. Worth knowing before you commit to the Estavel Chamber 26.

Where the Estavel Chamber 26 falls short

We have had the Estavel Chamber 26 in service long enough to say something useful about this permafrost-core archive vault. Nothing about the Estavel Chamber 26 is quick to service; plan the access before you site it. It has not changed what we think of the Estavel Chamber 26 overall.

Filtered air, which is what we needed from the Estavel Chamber 26

Shortlisted three permafrost-core archive vault units and the Estavel Chamber 26 is specified as filtered air, which is the option we wanted. At filtered air it does not need to stand out anywhere else.

The Estavel Chamber 26 after a year of steady use

The Estavel Chamber 26 is the right call for us.

Getting the Estavel Chamber 26 running

Went through the whole permafrost-core archive vault catalogue twice before the Estavel Chamber 26.

Does what it says: shelf count 46 shelves

replaced a much older permafrost-core archive vault with the Estavel Chamber 26 last season. Its shelf count of 46 shelves is what settled it. Nothing else about the Estavel Chamber 26 stood out, which is what we wanted.
