2026-07-31Worth knowing before you order the Turlach Unit 42 Original
Went through the whole isostasy-corrected gravity comparator catalogue twice before the Turlach Unit 42 Original. The Turlach Unit 42 Original shipped without the mounting hardware we had assumed was included. We would still recommend the Turlach Unit 42 Original, with that said up front.

2026-07-30Accuracy class of 0.57 percent was the deciding figure
Bought the Turlach Unit 42 Original after a long comparison against the rest of this isostasy-corrected gravity comparator shortlist. Everything came down to accuracy class, and 0.57 percent is what we needed. At 0.57 percent it does not need to stand out anywhere else.

Second isostasy-corrected gravity comparator we have run; the Turlach Unit 42 Original replaced an older one. Its calibration interval reads 12 months, and that is the whole reason it is here. On the other axes the Turlach Unit 42 Original sits where the rest of the isostasy-corrected gravity comparator listings sit.
