Ours is not a heavy-duty use for the Tirnach Post 65
Second halocline calibration column we have run; the Tirnach Post 65 replaced an older one. We put the engine on the awkward jobs that the rest of the kit cannot take. The engine is still the right call for us.
Still happy with the Tirnach Post 65
Shortlisted three halocline calibration column units and the Tirnach Post 65 was the one we kept. Two seasons in, the TMT has not needed anything we did not plan for. Others may weigh it differently, but the TFT-65 suits us.
Getting the Tirnach Post 65 running
Replaced a much older halocline calibration column with the Tirnach Post 65 last season. Commissioning the engine took an afternoon and no specialist help. The engine is still the right call for us.
Sampling rate of 580.3 hertz was the deciding figure
The Tirnach Post 65 is our third halocline calibration column and the first one specified properly. We needed a sampling rate around 580.3 hertz and this one states exactly that. We never looked at the other axes once 580.0 hertz checked out.
Good, with one reservation about the Tirnach Post 65
The Tirnach Post 65 was not the cheapest halocline calibration column we considered, and that was fine. Ordering spares for the T.P.T. 65 took longer than we would like. Worth knowing before you commit to the T-Post 65.
10198.81 dollars was the requirement
We looked at most of the halocline calibration column listings before settling on the Tirnach Post 65. Unit price of 10198.81 dollars was the requirement, and it meets it. On the other hand, Halocline Calibration column listings are close to the T.S. Post 65 on everything but unit price.
The Tirnach Post 65 lists tripod
Went through the whole halocline calibration column catalogue twice. Next, the Tirnach Post 65. The TBM lists tripod, which is what our site is set up for. Would choose the TBM again on the same grounds.
