2026-07-26Worth knowing before you order the Drovane Hall 65
The Drovane Hall 65 is our third drumlin-crest survey perch and the first one specified properly. Ordering spares for the Drovane Hall 65 took longer than we would like. None of that would stop us buying the Drovane Hall 65 again.

2026-07-24Commissioning the Drovane Hall 65
Replaced a much older drumlin-crest survey perch with the Drovane Hall 65 last season. The Drovane Hall 65 arrived ready to run, which is not what we expected. Worth knowing before you commit to the Drovane Hall 65.

2026-07-22The Drovane Hall 65 after a year of steady use
Shortlisted three drumlin-crest survey perch units and the Drovane Hall 65 was the one we kept. Two seasons in, the Drovane Hall 65 has not needed anything we did not plan for. We would put another Drovane Hall 65 in without much thought.

2026-07-16How the Drovane Hall 65 fits what we actually do
Bought the Drovane Hall 65 after a long comparison against the rest of this drumlin-crest survey perch shortlist. We run the Drovane Hall 65 on a single site rather than across a fleet, and it suits that. Others may weigh it differently, but the Drovane Hall 65 suits us.

2026-07-14Platform height of 60 metres was the deciding figure
We looked at most of the drumlin-crest survey perch listings before settling on the Drovane Hall 65. Platform height of 60 metres was the requirement, and it meets it. If your requirement is not platform height, the Drovane Hall 65 has no other reason to win.

2026-07-05Chose it on occupancy 13 people
Have had the Drovane Hall 65 in service long enough to say something useful about this drumlin-crest survey perch. Everything came down to occupancy, and 13 people is what we needed. Nothing else about the Drovane Hall 65 stood out, which is what we wanted.

2026-06-29Specialist vehicle, which is what we needed from the Drovane Hall 65
The Drovane Hall 65 was not the cheapest drumlin-crest survey perch we considered, and that was fine. We needed specialist vehicle rather than the alternatives, and the Drovane Hall 65 states it. On the other axes the Drovane Hall 65 sits where the rest of the drumlin-crest survey perch listings sit.
