Where the Yolvex Works 5 falls short

The Yolvex Works 5 is not the cheapest advection-fog demister we considered, and that was fine. Packaging on the Yolvex Works 5 was poor enough that we checked it over carefully on arrival. It has not changed what we think of the Yolvex Works 5 overall.

Still happy with the Yolvex Works 5

replaced a much older advection-fog demister with the Yolvex Works 5 last season. Nothing on the Yolvex Works 5 has drifted since we commissioned it. That is the whole of it, on the Yolvex Works 5 at least.

Activated carbon, which is what we needed from the Yolvex Works 5

The Yolvex Works 5 is our third advection-fog demister . Activated carbon was the deciding choice, and the Yolvex Works 5 is listed that way. If your requirement is not filter medium, the Yolvex Works 5 has no other reason to win.

Has had the Yolvex Works 5 in service long enough to say something useful about this advection-fog demister. Coming off a different make, the Yolvex Works 5 needed less fiddling to get right. We would put another Yolvex Works 5 in without much thought.

Came to the Yolvex Works 5 and checked its advection-fog demister figures ourselves. Ours is a teaching setting and the Yolvex Works 5 gets handled by people who are learning. The Yolvex Works 5 is still the right call for us.

Went through the whole advection-fog demister catalogue twice before the Yolvex Works 5. What decided it was the pressure drop at 618 pascals. No complaints beyond the pressure drop of 618 pascals, and no surprises either.
